Hi Dave, Congrats on a great job setting up this site. I was wondering a few things. 1- is there a way to mark messages that you've already read...like the B31 page. I am active in several other forums and frankly forget which messages I've read. 2- is there any way I can include a small picture with my posted text messages. 3- I'd like to change my preferences in the "AUTHOR" box (I live in Thornwood, NY, USA) not Ugandaas posted [:I] and i'd like to add a line at the bottoms of my postd with my website URL and boat info. Once again...great job and thanks again for the help. Ken 1983 Bertram FBC "BlueChip"

Hi Ken, here are the answers: 1. If you look at the statistics section at the bottom of the forum it will tell you how many active topics there have been since you last visited. If you click on the active topic link, it will take you to them. 2. I have Avatars working, but currently I only have some uploaded ones of gamefish. I haven't yet added the functionality to add your own. If you want to use one of the gamefish ones, you can do that in your profile section. At the bottom there is a section called Avatar. Just choose the one you like there. 3. I looked at you profile, and it looks like you already figured out how to change your country back to USA. As for the link, you can do it two ways, both of which are done in the signature section of your profile. The first way is to just put the complete path of the URL in your signature like this: http://www.bertram33.com. The forum automatically knows this is a link. The second way is a little more sophisticated. You would add the following code to your signature: "http://www.bertram33.com" In the above example, you would remove the outer quotes. This second method allows you to name the link instead of just having the raw URL there. Also, check the FAQ, it has many of the most common questions already answered: http://www.bertram33.com/forum/faq.asp Hope this info is helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions.
