old gas removal

Hello all. I am new to the forum and have found all the information here to be extremely useful. I recently acquired a 1980 33 sportfish with 454's and a fiberglass tank. The motors ran a year ago on a temporary gas tank. I just got it home and am in search of a way to remove and get rid of the old fuel so I can begin the tank replacement process. I live in Hyannis, MA and was wondering if there was a service that does this or if there was a safe way for me to do it myself. I'm not sure how old the gas is and didn't know if the gas could be cleaned and reused. Thank you
