Does anyone have experience permanently removing the fly bride on a 35? Ours is a 1979, Detroit MI area.

Anything is possible with some good fiberglass work and paint. There certainly isn't anything structural up there that would prevent you from doing it. There will also be a pretty big expense for removing all the wiring and relocating all the engine and misc. controls. I assume you have a height restriction as to why you would want to do this in the first place?
