454 7.4lt risers

Hi \This restoration is getting to be a monster - now i need 4 risers and manifolds for the 454s any ideas would like to go 2nh hand only because of cost thanks Raymond

Sorry to break the news but in my 35 years of experience putting used manifolds & risers on your on your engines would be the most expensive option when you have to rebuild an engine. (or just junk one with a cracked block) Years ago I put a set of elbows that had been used for a year up in my garage loft. I had boiled them clean first. A number years later I had to move the boxes. They made a funny noise. I opened the boxes & both elbows had crumbled to pieces.
I found out that once salt gets into cast iron, you can't get it out. That is why you can't convert a raw(salt) water cooled block to fresh water cooling.

Nuwave marine has OEM Manifolds & Elbows at them best prices I've ever seen. I just used them.
