1987 Bertram $25,000
I have decided to sell my boat, yep I am going for a sail boat. With my travel plans now changed, I am going to be buying a sail boat and hopefully make it through the Panama Canal. I have listed her here in the for sale as well as Craigslist. https://norfolk.craigslist.org/boa/d/sa ... 19330.html I just took her to Hampton Virginia to the City docks for 4 days. She ran perfect, with no issues at all. AC was great on gen and shore power. I have dumped a pile of money in her. But with things changing I need something I can go long distances with. If anyone know someone looking for a great boat, a deal like this will never come a long, unless someone is as crazy and me.

Justin, Sorry to see you're selling so soon, but things change. It's hard to believe that I'm starting my 18th season of owning my boat. Sometimes it still seems as I just got it and I still love the way it looks. It never gets old. Good luck selling it. Someone's going to get a nice rig. Wish I knew someone that was looking for one.
Regards, Doug L.

Thank you Doug, It's been a hell of a ride. But at 1 gallon a mile, at 8 miles an hour on a smooth bay. She just was not going to do what I wanted. Going to a sail boat, I still hope to be heading to the Bahamas in November. If things go well, I could be gone for a year. I wish everyone here a clear sky and smooth seas.
