Shipping 35' Convert

Hello Guys, I bought a 35 foot Bertram convertible in Virginia and need to ship it to California. I thought from specs I saw that the height from keel to the top of the flybridge was 12'6" The boat yard is measuring it at 13'6" which means I can't ship the boat. Does anyone have specifications for a 35 foot Bertram convertible 1982? If it is 13'6" high has anybody had any experience shipping a break from long-distance? Thanks! James

I believe most people that the flybridge off and set in the cockpit and ship the boat.
