has anyone replace their 3208's with cat 3116's or 3126's if so what hp we are on our 4th set of new engines in 12 years, less than 1500hrs total love to chat about this if anyone interested

Yes, I put Cummins 330's in last summer and love it but now that they're in I notice that there is lots of room around them and a slightly larger block like the Cat 3126 or possibly the cummins "C" blocks rated at 450 HP would be something to think about. Now that I can go 30 KTS or so wide open I can't help wondering what it would feel like to cruise at that speed..Of course since the larger engines don't run as fast RPM wise, it would idle at about 10 KTS to be able to achieve a decent top end speed. . Maybe some day. What has caused your engines to go bad so often?
