Replacing Tanks

Rick, I don't think any dimensions were changed. I believe extra capacity was gained due to the difference in thickness of the aluminum compared to the fiberglass. The tank was taken to the fabricator in one piece and they used it as their template. As far as the installation, I'm sorry to say I don't know exactly how the tank was installed. I know the tank itself was primed, the bottom half was coated and that rubber strips were used but I was unable to get to the boat before the deck was back on. Tony

Tony, That's ok, was just wondering if the pro's did it any different than the way I did. Sounds like a similar installation and you're all set for many years to come. SP has done a lot of tanks. Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA
