Need a dor for a 1986 33' sportfisher

Post by Boardfeet »

I've contacted Hightide and am awaiting a response. Just thought I'd check here to see if there was another source. Frank Hoskins Milton, FL. 1986 33' Bertram Sportfish B-370 Cummins.

Frank, I have the same year and model as you. When I bought the boat one of the interior doors had punched a hole in the other one and the entry door was starting to delaminate at the bottom. I really wasn't all that thrilled with the original hollow interior doors any way so I had a cabinet maker make new ones out of solid oak with a recessed panel for the interior and mahogany for the entry door. I finished them with clear eurethane , more on the entry door, less on the interior ones( still grain showing) . I would recommend this route for anyone contemplating a new door as the new ones will take a bit more abuse and I like the look a whole lot better. The cost was reasonable , somewhere around $500 to $700 for all three as I recall.
