Bow Pulpit Windlass combination

Post by wpdesmarais »

Hello Bert owners. Bill here from the 28 FBC side. Any suggestions on a pulpit windlass combination for my 28 FBC. I'd like to be able to anchor and retrieve from the fly bridge. Any suggestion for products. Appreciated, Bill

Hey Bill, I'm actually on the email list you were sending to last year concerning the Fuel Tanks.....so welcome aboard ! If you do a search on "Windless", you'll see where they've been discussed in the past. Search function is in the upper right corner of your screen. Good discussions relative to installation too. Seems a lot of the guys like the Lewmar, but there's other good ones. The only one I've heard to stay away from is the Goode. Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA

Hi Bill, While I don't know much about these I like the pro-fish model I think there was a posting hear on installation quirks. I purchased external sea strainers from them for a great price. The windless is a project for another day for me. http://www.starmarinedepot.com/search_r ... Txt=lewmar br, John D "Lady D" Bertram 35 Pasadena MD
