I don't believe there is a difference. I think there's only 1 model and people call them either SF's or FBC'S. Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA

pre-1980/1 models had a smaller flybridge, no seating in front. They also had no day bunk down below just storage and drawers, I think the cabin v-brith was a little bigger. Also the galley typically on took 1/2 the port side. After 1980, the flybridge was changed to have seating in the front. A single day bunk replaced the port side storage below and the V-birth configuration was different. In the salon, the galley takes up the whole port side. As for the model's I like the salon on the early models, it doesn't feel as crampt to me, and the space in the stateroom. However the Flybridge and day birth on the later models is a huge plus. There's a '78 B35 listed in FLA with cat 3126's (I'm putting them in my boat now) and at that price it's a geat deal. As a matter of fact there are a lot of great buys on B33 & B35 models right now. Best of all they can keep pace with boats 20-30years newer on just about everything but gingerbread and price. br, John D "Lady D" Bertram 35 Pasadena MD
