Cushion shop needed North Shore, MA

Post by Mike T »

Interior Cushion Reupholstering Prices ? Reupholster 4 galley table seat cushions and seat backs, all with plywood bottoms/backs. Reupholster and replace foam on the v-berth cushions. 7 cushions total. Picked out a supposedly affordable material from Absecon Mills (absecondotcom) called "Sherpa". I tried getting a quote over the phone but the guy insisted he needed to see the cushions (aren't they all pretty close in size? V-berths and 2 seat galley tables?). Anyways, I get the call yesterday, $1650, seems high to me. I'm breaking it down in my mind to $200 plus for the plywood backed rectangular cushions and $800 for the v-berth. Can anyone share what they've paid for a similar job? I may be picking them up for a requote somewhere else…… Thanks, Mike

Mike, I had my v birth cushions done 5-6 years ago and it was somewhere around $500. Try Colombia Auto Seat Cover in Lawrence. He'll want to look at them too. Not cheap...but good work and reasonable. 978-683-2205 Rick Ticket 85 SF Falmouth, MA
