Fiberglass Gas Tanks

Post by rnanaples »

Hey all of you gas boat people. Any word on companies that are doing retro's in the fort laud area for the fiberglass tank. Any word if there is and alternative to replacement of the tank. One more question does anyone know of a spare swim platform out there ?

Nobody down here. Danny at HighTide is doing the 25 & 28 remakes for a small fortune. Your tank bad or are you sweating the E10 issue? I'm not about to change out a fiberlass tank yet. There still is no solid proof we have a problem with E10. At least in the later models. Of coarse Jeb got everybody wired over on the West coast before we got him out of office, so it probably won't be long. Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. "Nauti Marie" 1989 33 FBC

odlly enough after I made my post I called my fuel delivery guy and he said there wasn't even e-10 at the terminal they buy from and no immediate plan to have any there. As well as the fact he claimed that boats may get an exemption on that law. who knows ....quote:Originally posted by captgene Nobody down here.
