How do the Yanmar 315's compare in performance to the Cummins? SF

Steve, I'm not as familar with the Yanmars, but the numbers posted by others seem to be pretty similar (speed and fuel burn). The only real differance I can see is that 315's are a 3800rpm motor and you'll be cruising at a much higher rpm than with the Cummins. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I would base my choice on which engine is more easily serviced in your area. For me it was pretty simple as the Cummins rep for my area belongs to my yacht club. Santa, What happened - I knew the whole list was a longshot - but I thought I had a shot at some of it.
