well guys i have not bothered anyone with any questions in a while. as some may remember and i want to share this, my strb. tranny started making some noise, i took the tranny out and had it check in Ft. Lauderdale (hurth) and they told me it was fine to check my engine. Well i did a compression test and found 5 cyl at 135psi and the rest about 25to 60psi My boat ran great like that,, 454 magic. My NEW looking manifolds were rotten inside and well now i rebuilt the entire enginge luckly my port was fine all 135to 138 psi and well just remember if you here noise in tranny CHECK YOUR ENGINE well i missed july aug and september but look at all the GAS i saved.Pete
