Head light fixtures-'87 33' FBC

Post by smithmk913 »

I needed to find replacement lens for head light fixtures. Found the manufacturer at www.progressivedyn.com. Unit part number is PD761. They are the 5" square ones with white lens. Quoted price is $8.10 for the entire fixture. 84 cents for replacement lens. They're located in Marshall, Michigan at phone 269-781-4241-ask for service. At $8. each decided to replace both units and the one in the forward bilge. Thank God for Google.

Mike... Thanks for posting this site! BTW: You inadvertantly included the "period" at the end of the address, so if you click on the above it will come back with a 404 address unknown message. If someone wants to go to this site, just copy the shortcut, paste it to the line at the top of the screen where you type in the address you want to go to, and remove the period and slash to the right of the letters "com". Now.. for the main reason why I posted this.. When I went to this site I discovered under their assortment of incadescent lights that they have what looks like a duplicate of my original square two bulb cabin overhead lights for my '83 FBC. Go to this link.. http://www.progressivedyn.com/prod_deta ... 760_1.html Does anyone know if these are in fact exact duplicates of what Bertram apparently used for several years? My lights are pretty ragged looking, and the PODoofus used higher wattage than recommended bulbs so most of my lenses have burn holes in them. He did give me some spare lenses, but I don't know where he bought them. Frank B - IRGuy@aol.com "Phoenix" 1983 FBC Wilmington, NC

Frank-Bertram usually stuck with one supplier for components. Perko for example. Would assume these double fixtures are your match. Good luck!
