Hatch Vent

Post by jclint »

The transparent plastic vent in the v-berth hatch of my '77 Convertible is cracked and one small piece broken off. If it ever rains here or I get into some heavy going, I'm going to take on some water. Has anyone dealt with this problem or know of a replacement part? TIA for your help.

I have a 1988 FBC and it's v-beth hatch is a Bomar and I believe it's still beinging made. At least I bought the parts to repair mine and the Bomar parts worked. Buzz buzzk 1988 Bertram 33 FBC Buzz Off Morehead City, NC

If your hatch is like the one in my 1978, then that was an inhouse Bert product. I have a raised fiberglass curb on my foredeck. On that is an overlapping hatch. That hatch is made out of the original green glass with the perimeter gel coated white. Al
