SeaPower

Post by jadairiii »

I have installed on my boat a unit called "SeaPower" by Power Technologies but I have no information on the unit, so I dont use it. It is supposed to take the place of an genset on smaller boats? Big alternator and a "magic" black box. Anyone out there know anything about these and were I can get operators manual for it, maybe even just company contact information? Thanks. John

John, My Dad had this system on his 34' Mainship and ran it trouble free for the 10 years that he had the boat. At a certain rpm, it generates 110v power. They did not anchor much, but liked to use the salon while underway. So, they ran the A/C and other systems while cruising. It was a great alternate to the genset. Mike
