Bill, Here is a list of Society Of Accredited Marine Surveyors in CT to start with. Good luck. http://www.marinesurvey.org/ct.html

If you still need one, I can make a couple of calls. I bought a boat from Rex Marine in Norwalk years ago. I can also check my paperwork at home for the Surveyor that inspected mine for the insurance. Let me know. Brian '90 Bertram 33' FBC Never Say Never Guilford, CT (Homeport) Kinnelon, NJ (Home)

Bill, You are welcome. Having used several over the years, I have found SAM Surveyors to be very good. When I was considering out of state boats, I would have SAM Surveyor look it over, email photos and call me with their observations. They saved me a great deal of time and money not having to fly all over, wasting my time.

Great idea Ed, I'll be sure to stick with a SAMS guy. I can't even remember what the survey cost last time I had it done? Bill 1988 33 FBC Ipswich, Ma. > ~-------

I think a complete one is around $750. When I just had them look it over and call me with an opinion it was around $200.
