I just came across this and was wondering if anyone has used it before and were they happy with it? http://www.boathistoryreport.com/ 1979 Bertram 33' FBC ALEXANDRA Port Richey, Florida

Ed, I take it this is a pay service similar to CarFax? Could be good. A lot of our boats are documented, and if a boat is, you can find out similar information from the United States Coast Guard Port State Information eXchange (PSIX) system. By plugging in a HIN, you can see if there has been anything major reported against the boat, and it is free. Might not be a ton of info, but it should show up something major. Here is a link to the PSIX Vessel Search page: PSIX Vessel Search David Sumich 1986 SF - 33 Megabites Huntington Harbour, CA Forum Administrator

David, Thank you, the site you listed is for vessels that the USCG has had some contact with. The paid site I was asking about said that it provides history of insurance claims, recalls etc. Just was curious if anyone had used it before. 1979 Bertram 33' FBC ALEXANDRA Port Richey, Florida
