Just took a ride by your boat this afternoon, I have to give you credit for getting in and out of that slip! The tide was running out at just about dead low, it had to be moving about 5-7 knots at least. I can't believe how little room you have in front of you once you pull out, looks like they only planned on having 18 foot boats at those slips when they built them! Hi Bill, Now you know why I don't have the full enclosure up. It's not so bad getting into the slip. The problem is getting OUT of my slip. The prevailing winds either pin you to the finger or in conjunction with the ebb tide push you down on the next dock. My neighbor & I measured the distance between the opposing fingers. Would you believe 42'. The fingers are 30' long & the slips are rated for 36' LOA. So yeah, you could say it's a little tight. Al 1978 33 FBC NITES OFF
