I repowered a 33 sf with cummins 330B. I get 23- 24 kt cruies @ 2400. I used 21X22 3b props with a cup and 1.5" aq 22 shafts. Top speed is 29.5 kts at 2950 (I know under propped but I prefer it that way). Are you sure you're not overpropped with 25" of pitch on the 370's? What's the top RPM fully loaded? I can easily get 100 miles out and troll for 8 hours (and get back with plenty of reserve. The boat handles heavy seas much better with deisels than gas engines. Eric

The 25" of pitch has to be to much. I have 320 hp 3208 cats and they are set at 21x22 1/2. It is just alittle under propped, but like you said, I also like it that way. I get the same #'s that you get. Mike

Eric and Mike, My boat does have 22x23, three blade props. Max rpm is 3050. The engines turn up to max rpm with these props. At max rpm boat goes 33 knots. At 2750 rpm the boat does 30 knots. Does this answer your questions? Fran,
