5/31/04 Point Loma Kelp, San Diego

Took the wife out on an absolutely incredible day. No wind, swells fairly small, perfect temperature. Left the Kona Kai at about 9am, and fished the PL Kelp until only 12pm, then headed back in with evening's dinner - 3 nice red rock cod. Could have easily caught more, but felt like 3 was enough for dinner, and didn't bring anymore up, so worked the swimbaits up top for a few bumps from cudas, but nothing doing. The reds came in on the brown/gold/orange Fish Traps at around 110 feet. Nice way to spend a Memorial Day Monday. Dinner...
