Tuna door

We're considering putting a tuna door on the transom of our 33 SF. Has anyone done this, or can anyone give us any information on the process? We need something to do for the winter. Capt. Jim Bost

Capt Jim, look at my comments to Doug on 9/17 on the 33 Conv. forum. It can be done. You just have to make sure that you replace the transom strength that is being taken out by the cutting. That means reinforcing the jambs to the transom, as well as tieing in under the deck to the transom. Al 1978 33 FBC NITES OFF
