Has anyone looked into these engines? I understand he is building new ones with alum. Viper blocks detuned for higher torque across the RPM operating zone, with fuel consumption less than a 380hp Cummins. Direct gas replacement bobtail or with ZW’s. Capt. Ed, Look under LINKS on this website. I called this guy several months ago and he talked my ear off but failed to convince me of hard data and actual results on a boat as heavy as ours , since then his website hasn't been updated at all so I don't know if anyone is buying his story. They also ask for almost diesel money for these things , so you'd have to ask yourself why bother? I mean, these same engines in a dodge pickup get the worst mileage ever and now he puts them in boat , and he now claims that because of running at a lower RPM, they will get the same mileage as diesels. It just doesn't make any sense. But Hey, I could be wrong, someone try them out and see how they do... Frank Price

Frank, You are right, he does talk your ear off, and called me the next to get the other ear too! I agree with you, $22k+ each (incl. trans,) for those do not make a lot of sense, He said some guy on the East coast is going to install a pair in a heavy boat. I told him if I am going to the trouble to replace the engined and spend $50k or $60k, I am going with a known engine, and diesel.
