check valve / regulator

Post by justintime2 »

I am doing some plumbing, and was wondering if I need the regulator and the check valve located on the starboard side? It looks OLD as can be. ( I have a check valve preventing anything from going past the pump and into the tank. ) What is the regulator for?

That is the water pressure regulator to control shore water pressure if you are connected. Great way to sink a boat. Nice name.

The boat is coming together.Just in time for summer. So far: New trim tabs New electronics / radar two VHF radios + hand held removed old transducers and re fiberglass. ( added the two transducers for 3D ) new upper helm pedestals ( I don't like them , to much movement) New frig isotherm build sofa ( new cushions should be ready next week ) New cushions/bed in cabins same guy made my coming around cockpit I have done a lot of small stuff that need fixing, to many to list. next project is hard top, the guys is pretty busy, but hope to get him out to the boat next week.
