Jose, Those are fantastic. I especially like the one of Blue Chip in the moonlight. What's the deal with the aquatic pigs?

Thanks. The Exumas are certainly different from the Abacos, the Berries or the bigger and more populated islands of the Bahamas. Beautiful turquoise but shallow waters make our B33s a perfect means to explore. An inflatable is a must to approach the hundreds of quaint beaches. There is enough fuel around but I wish we had a watermaker In one of the cays,I forget the name, about 12 wild but docile pigs live there and will reach your vessel for food. Jose, I just noticed you're bridge is missing the stripe. Did you have it re-painted? Also, did your boat come from the factory with the windshield blanked out?

Hello Doug; Thanks for noticing. The Blue Chip spent close to a year in the yard in 2009. Significant changes were made throughout. The bridge top is now fiberglass and the console was rebuilt to fit the electronics and controls. In the cabin the cabinetry was re-manufactured and extended forward up to the windshield providing large storage. Insulation and fiberglass were laid in front of the windshield which was a terrible heat source in the summer making the A/C badly insufficient. The entire aft bulkhead was made in fiberglass with a hinged door and incorporated a box on the port side. She was completely repainted and decided to eliminate the bridge stripe. Electronic boxes were all updated to do away with fuses. I'm gathering some before and after pictures to post now that my son walked me through Frank's "Guide for Dummies on picture posting". I don't know exactly how much weight has been added but surely lost 1 to 2 knots at cruising speed and fuel consumption went up to .70 miles/gallon from .85 I used to get. Jose... Great pics, thanks for sharing them! Is there any chance you might post a pic of the redone console you mentioned? In some of my many weaker moments I have wondered about changing the console so more instruments can be "built in". If I decide to make any changes now is the time since "Phoenix" will be repainted soon (hopefully)..

Jose, My first suggestion regarding your props is to make sure you can still achieve a minimum of 2850rpms @ WOT. Not sure what you can about the lost speed.

Beautiful pic's Jose....looks like a must visit sometime. Boat looks tip-top. If you ever pull it for maintenance, a lot of the travelifts these days have scales and can measure how much you weigh. So if you think you've added a lot of weight, that would be a way to verify it. Ticket (a SF) weighs 21,000 with a full gas tank. Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

Rick; IÂ´m up for bottom paint soon and will try what you mentioned. Doug; Today I was able to get 2880 at WOT, it was 3000 before. Remenber I have 3208Ts. Jose, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that all 3208's have a min max rated WOT of 2800rpms. It sounds likes you were under propped before and that you're still above the min max rated now. Not sure what you can do to get the speed back. You could certainly get the rpms back by changing your pitch and/or diameter, but I think the speed is gone. I have the same coffee maker at my house.

Try this Brian, Go to Photobucket and choose picture Copy "Direct Link" http address thats to the left of picture Go to "Reply to Topic" on Forum Change Forum Mode to "Prompt" Click on little picture above the word "color" up there(mountains and sun) to "Insert Image" Paste the "Direct Link" into the box hit OK and hit "Preview" to see if it worked Copying "Direct Link" is the key Let me know if it works.
