Where is the tachometer sending unit located on 1982 CAT 3208 T's? My port side stop reading, doesn't appear to be a loose connection. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
It is on the front of the motor under the heat exchanger above the water pump for the motor. Not the sea water pump. There are two wires on it. I think there are two different ones. One for VDO tachs and one for all other Cat tachs.
