JFK in Boston

Post by dougl33 »

FYI: The JFK is in Boston for what will probably be the last time. Its right down in South Boston. My office is right on the water in Southie and we saw it coming in yesterday. Boy is that thing big. Anyone that's in the water should take a spin to see it. They're planing on decommissioning it soon. Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth Marblehead, MA

Now there's a bottom you wouldn't want to paint ! My 512 foot destroyer re-fueled from the JFK once, it made us look like a dingy.
