How does the 35 Sleep 4-5 adult size people

Looking at 81 and newer 35Bs with the small bunk in the companionway. As well as the small couch in salon. Can an adult sleep on the small bunk and can 2 sleep on the pull out couch?

No. A child could sleep on the day bed as I call it or a very small person. I would either have to be really drunk or liquor and sleeping pills. Most salon couches are single beds. Two can fit very nicely in the V-birth though. If I was trying to cram bodies on the boat I would go with blow-up beds. If you lay them out across the salon you could fit three singles. Someone could sleep on the flybridge bench seat if you don't need AC, it's not raining or there are no bugs.

You could replace the small sofa with a futon. That's what I have on my '72 B35 and it will easily sleep 2 + 2 in the v-birth for a total of 4, to get the 5th in would be cozy.. The other option would be some foam camping mats and sleeping bags on the salon floor.
