Nice boat and would work for what I want. Needs tower and other stuff. Now I have to sell mine. Its listed at $90,000.00. Captain Larry Wren 305-360-4900 www.apirateschoice.com

Still needs riggers, tower and lots more work. Like the spped and any idea of gph at cruise? Captain Larry Wren 305-360-4900 www.apirateschoice.com

The 1984 Bertram spec sheet I have claims a fuel burn of 38.8gph, but at a cruise of 27 knots @2150 rpms. That speed seems high, but the fuel burn sounds reasonable. I have always heard that the 6-92's (at a reasonable HP) are great engines, but that they are thirsty. Like the old saying goes: "Speed costs money. How fast you wanna' go?"

http://www.marinesource.com/boat_sales/ ... 98410.html What do you think of this one? There are quite a few in s Florida for sale. Looked t a REALLY nice 50' Bertram freshly re-powered last year with Mann,s under the hood (400k) but a the width becomes a problem when you get over 16"6'. There are not a lot of slips that wide in our area. Captain Larry Wren 305-360-4900 www.apirateschoice.com

Looks like a decent boat at a good price. It looks clean and the low hour rebuilds (depending on what was done) are a good thing. On the down side the electronics are old. It doesn't look as though it even has a GPS. I don't think finding a boat will be your problem. The trouble you're going to run into is selling your boat. For what its worth, I'd steer clear of any boat powered with Mann's. Crawling around boatdiesel gives me the impression that Mann's are very expensive to maintain.

Don't feel bad I have mine priced in the 60"s and not a looker. I think its time to sit back and let the market come up a bit. The government keep telling us that the bad times are near the end now if the public will listen. Good luck on selling your boat and I hope you get a buyer!
