Looking for a cockpit that will hold six plus a mate (with a fighting chair, not needed but people ask for it and it looks great from the dock). I looked at a forty six Bertram and it was still short on cockpit space. We also want to do the two and three day charters to Bahammas and need some bedrooms and and a large salon. Bye the way I was three for Three for sails this last weekend! Nice muttons on the bottom and kings were happy taking my tackle ( customers had no want for kingfish) It was a good catch but not the "rack" you were impressed viewing! Larry, I know it's a long way up here for you to look but there is a very nice 42 for sale here in Plymouth Ma. I looked at it a couple of times but I can't swing the extra $$$ right now. It is a one owner, never been fished. 475 hp T&J'2 6 92 detroits, with 260 hrs on them. Completly gone thru by the local detroit guru. It could use new carpet and some new drapes. Encloser will need to be done in a few years and it has older electronics. Broker called me last week and said owner will take $110.000, alot of boat for the $$. I know this boat and she has never been punished. Brian 1986 Bertram 33 FBC Mercruisers Seahorse Ellisville Harbor, Ma

Doug, South Shore Drydock in Marshfield has it. Ask for Buck Berry. Give me a call if you are interested. I looked very close at it and can give you a good idea what it needs. I think he was asking 0ver 200 when it first went on the market. It has a lot of room, queen berth midship port side...nice Brian 1986 Bertram 33 FBC Mercruisers Seahorse Ellisville Harbor, Ma

I've been keeping my eye on that one for a long time. It was originally listed for $239K. I traded a few emails with the broker today. Its a great deal, but I'd have to move my boat first. These days its hard to give one of these things away.

Doug, I think your boat would sell quick. J&J down in Somerset sold the same 33 FBC 3 times in the last two years. It lasted about 2 months on the market this past spring. It had Yanmmars and a ton of work done to it but not an original condition boat. You might take a little bit of a hit but look what you can get right now.....Very tempting. That 33 was on the market for the better part of 3 years.
