Great prices, but I wonder if the items that are not called out as 316 stainless are lesser quality? Brian '90 Bertram 33' FBC Yanmar 370's Never Say Never Guilford, CT (Homeport) Kinnelon, NJ (Home)

Justin, Good timing as I was in need of some 10ga wire for my block heaters and HW heater. The prices at genuinedealz were great, I got 50ft for $50bucks at Defender it was $71 for 25ft. br,

Just ordered two antenna mounts & 2 8" cleats. After I get them I think I will leave them sitting in the cockpit for a few months before I start drilling holes. That way I can see how corrosion resistant they are. I would like to replace the hand rail fittings for the gunwale step up & alongside the bridge as well as the stern hawse pipes. I can not keep the rust off the original Bert hardware. Al

My items just arrived, here's a run down on what I bought .... Super fast shipping... Packaging could have been much better.. Rod holders tops are actually cast stainless..!! The rubber caps and liners don't fit that great...but for $14.95 It's tough to beat.... The 6" chocks and bimini hardware are excellent both finish and heft.. The pull-up cleats have some sharp edges that can easily be filed and was disappointed they did not come with backing plates.. All in all still feel the huge difference in price was worth giving it a shot. I saved over $240.00 on this order over Boaters World prices which are already about 20% less than West.... Time will tell the real story.. Ray

Got my order yesterday. Fast shipping, rod holders are a 6 out of 10. I got a chain stop for the anchor, not bad but the pin is a little messed up. I will contact them for a replacement. All in all, good stuff for the money. Bill 1989 33 FBC Cummins 330B > ~-------

Just a quick update on MarinePartDepot.com.. You do get what you pay for in overall fit/finish quality... details like finished edges being too sharp etc.. I probably should not have expected more....But that's my cheap a_ _ wanting the same for less... But I do have to say after contacting them with my concerns, they offered me a full refund for any or all of the parts I was unhapppy with and would also pay for the return shipping!!! Impressive for a discount house to have that response...This level of customer service keeps them as a great site..

Calling Becca Rose.. Hey Bill, How did your pieces from Marine Parts Depot fair through the summer..?? I've been disappointed with their ability to ward off rust stains.. In 25 years of buying SS parts never had any rust .....Till Now Have you had any better luck?? I believe their "316" is not the same as US made 316.... Ray

I'd like to know what kind of SS runs after 1 season. Probably need to stay away from that stuff.
