Bertram 33SF

Post by Marlin123 »

I am considering buying a 33SF to send to Kenya could anyone tell me the measurement for the total bridge clearance including draft as the shipping costs spiral out of all proportion the higher she gets ideally she would be under 13 feet. Also i would appreciate any advice anyone has on the 33 and what to look for, i am restricted to buying one with 3208's as they are the only motor i can get serviced over there and their reliability is second to none. Many thanks in advance

Tim, Welcome aboard. The 33SF is a good choice, especially with the Cats. Bertram lists the height of the sf from the waterline to the top of the flybridge wind screen as 11'6". The boat draws 3' of water. That gives you a minimum height of 14'6". Use the site's search function in the upper right hand corner for what to look for as its been stated many times. Good luck. Hi Doug, Thanks for the info as i need to run the 3208's and dont want an express the Bertram looks a great choice. At the moment i have a 31 Ocean Master berthed in Key West she is an awesome boat but sadly as Kenyan Gas is full of Sulphur and there is no Suzuki dealer there she is no good plus she has a full tower so shipping becomes a nightmare. I will look over the forum for advice and hopefully once the Ocean Master has sold will find something to replace her. Kind regards Tim
