I can't remember if someone explained how to remove windows in the FBC here or not. The little angels across the canal somehow managed to get a few rocks thru my Stb. Salon windows. I went to go out this morning and glass was everywhere. Ruined my day. Two sheets of plastic and two rolls of duct tape later, I got it plugged up. Anyway, I hope there is a way to get the window panels out without taking the whloe frame out of the boat. Anybody done this? Price is not a option. I'm not paying for it! Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. I will use tinted impact glass. Nothing but the best. I think I have to do this in two stages. Hire someone to talk the frames out and then have a glass company build the windows. I have not been able to find any Boat window service that is Mobile. Not looking like I'll get this done in a very timely maner. Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. "Nauti Marie" 1989 33 FBC
Gene , I looked hard at my SF window frames and decided against removing them. The front pop-out windows were not that difficult but, boy the side ones looked like they built the boat around them. Please take pictures and let us know how to do it!

No that would be a "Frame Swearer" With me behind the words, that baby would float out. I wish it were that easy. I had one glass co. over yesterday. They think by removing all those screws holding the strips on the inside and then dropping the top track is how they come out. Only problem is you have to remove the back stationary window to get the slider in or out because it is on the outside. Another nightmare , it appears. Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. This is starting to be a problem finding someone with any knowhow. I got all the old frame out and put a plexaglass window in with duct tape. At least the boat is useable. Only cut myself once. I have a quote from a local glass co. of $834. I sent a bunch of pictures to a Co. in Miami , and am waiting on them. I was referred to a old Bertram employee from "back in the day" in Ft. Lauderdale, but he hasn't called me back again. Probably a burn out. So I'm nowhere ... Gene Dugan Boca Raton, Fl. "Nauti Marie" 1989 33 FBC
