Man, sorry to hear Sean. Hopefully you can get Sun-Mon in. That's when we are planning on heading out. I'm leaving work at noon today (friday) Gonna be at the boat all day tomorrow to gear up for the Wilmington. If you can, stop by. We're at Snug Harbor this year. F-1 slip. Can't miss it from the far right parking lot. I wish I had a nickel for everytime I over spent for a part. Or bought 10 parts for only needing to replace one piece. Man, those nickels could buy me a bigger boat, and I'd certainly collect more nickels. Ahh! Where does it end?!?!?!

FIXED - Canyon Club wanted a GRAND for a new raw water pump -I said no way. Rebuild kit was 225 - but wouldnt be in until next week. Found a small local place that had one ordered and returned last week still on the shelf. 325 new pump (which means canyon club wanted 675 dollars more)for the IDENTICAL part. Trying to put a crew together for Sunday night. Jerry, - where are you headed - ? Im thinking poormans or Wilmington

Hey Sean- Canyon Club is NUTS with pricing. They always try and take advantage of the boats (and money) at their marina, since they are million dollar plus boats. I guess they figure someone would pay that much to not have to leave the dock. I think they sell milk there too for $6. But glad to here you tacked down a pump. How was the install? We ended up at the 100 line along the Wilmington with nothing. Crossed over a 5 degree temperature break around the 50 line, but kept going (poor decision). Trolled up to the tip of the Wilm. with nothing but cleaning off scattered weed every 10 minutes. Finally came inside towards the end of the day and nabbed a Yellow Fin around a slough near the Kelly-Murphy wreck. Only other action I heard was a few dolphin near some organized weed lines, but for the most part they weren't bitting. I know a white was taken near the 40 fathom fingers mid day. How did anyone else make out?

I was never able to put another offshore crew together so we were stuck inshore all weekend and caught a bunch of Flounder and Sea Bass. I know of a few people that had a nice bite at the Wilmington but it was overnight Sun into Monday - 1 guy caught a nice sword, with 7 YFT in there. Well see what the weather looks like next weekend!!

Yeah, I've heard a bunch of the same the past day or so. I hope the weather stays in shape for the weekend. I think an overnighter with some chunking is in the mix. Give a call to the weather guys and get them on board.
