1983 33 Eagle One - formerly in Galveston

All, I am new to the forum and am trying to locate my uncle's 1983 Bertram 33 Eagle One. Just curious where she is these days. Last I heard the boat was sold to someone in California and trucked out there from Galveston. We did alot of billfishing off the Texas coast in that boat from 83-89. Will try to post a photo. Raised and caught many fish on her! Thanks..

Here is a pic of the Eagle One. If I remember correctly, she was apparently one of the first 33's that Bertram put the VT 555's in and Cummins even used her in an ad.. Have a copy somewhere and will scan it in. [IMG]http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa12 ... mg0041.jpg[/IMG]

John, Welcome, I just did a search for documentated Eagle Ones. Nineteen listed in the database, but none were a Bert. If she is on the left coast, then David, out illustrious leader may be familiar with her. Al

Al, Thanks for the reply. The name probably has changed, but I believe she was still the Eagle One when she supposedly got trucked out to California.. This was probably around 2002 or 2003? I also think the boat had been repowered by then. Will be interesting if someone knows the boat. One other unique feature was that we had turned the water tank into a fuel tank. John

I wonder if it is still a documented boat. I am not familiar with any boat by that name, but I will do a bit of research and see if I can dig anything up.
