How 'bout them Patriots!

Post by dougl33 »

A little closer than I thought it was going to be, but a win is a win is a win. Now its time to go for 3 Superbowl wins in a row, something no NFL team has ever done. Only a little more than 9 days before pitchers and catchers report! GO SOX!!! Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth

Yeah, congrats on the big win. Has New England won all of it's Super Bowls by three points? It seems to me they have. I can't wait for baseball too. David Sumich Bertram33.com Forum Administrator

Yup. All 3 wins have been by 3 points. Adam Vinatieri kicked the winning filed goal in all 3 games. Also, the Pats are the only team in NFL history to be undefeated in February. Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth

What a game, they seem to never let you down and always come in with their A-game. It amazing the defense played as well as it did with the injuries they've had. They're full of talent and integrity at every level and I'm sure they have maybe not SB's, but at least a lot of good seasons coming their way. Red Sox on the way....got a question for everyone. Has anyone had luck with those funny looking, always looking like they're broken, boat TV antenna's ? I've got a DC TV and it would be nice to be able to watch the Sox on Cape Cod. The standard rabbit ears just don't get it done. But the Tower Mount Antennas border looking rediculous and I'm not sure that I can go there. But if they made one that was good enough to use in say...the forward fly bridge locker...then maybe.

Rick, One of those big saucer shaped TV antennas actually came with my boat but I never used it. I may still have it but I'm not sure as the wife is trying to break me of my pack-rat qualities. If I can find it, you're welcome to give it a try. Regards, Doug L. 1986 33 Bertram FBC Queen Elizabeth

Anntennas...I have one of those big flying saucers in the nose of the bridge. It has a directonal control on it so you can rotate it. I'm exactly in between Miami and Palm Beach, so I get both cities. Some better than others. If I am on the hook, it goes nuts every time the boat swings. But I have a 9" color DC in the v-berth. Works better than the 20' in the salon.Even with a broken rabbit ear. E.W. Dugan
