Bimini

We left Port Everglades last Thursday and crossed the stream in about 3 foot seas. Lumpy. but not too terrible. Fished hard Friday & boated about 6 nice schoolie Dolphin, one huge 35# bull & one 20# Yellowfin. (tons of pesky cuda)Snorkeled around on Saturday & returned Sunday in about 2 foot seas. First real long trip since the refit & everything ran real well. OK gas guys, here's the good news, we cruised over at about 21 knots full fuel & water, 7 dive tanks, well over 1500#'s of crew, dive gear & beer about 3500 RPM. Fished all day hard one day (fast troll), leisurly dive & snorkel one day. The return trip we started with almost empty water tanks and a little under 3/4 tank of fuel, no beer, but still full dive tanks & crew. Ran about the same 3500 RPM, with the current this time, about 23 knots. Burned only 206 gals. total!!!! Awesome mileage. Great trip. Thanks for the dive sites, Gene. Came in very handy as we were trying to dodge the wind. Joe Tomaini 1988 Sportfish Attitude Adjustment II Fort Lauderdale, FL
