The fish was fought for just over an hour on a TLD 25 with thirty pound test. The bite was very cool as the fish hit the other rigger first and the piled on the bait we were free spooling back. Then tail-walked straight to the boat and stopped a few feet from the transom. We had to wind like crazy to get the line tight. Then the back down in four foot seas complete with the famous Bertram role. Even after an hour the fish was still green and couldn't be billed so we tailed him to the transmon and in the boat took pictures and measurments and back to the water. Ran boat forward to revive the fish untill he could swim away on his own in good shape. That is so cool. Perfect reel & line for that kind of fight too. Did you hold him by his bill while running the boat to revive ? If you could post the pic, I won't ask any more questions ! Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA

The fish swam away to fight another day. Now if it were the dolphin in this picture none were put back and all were taken home by customers!!! Not all charters are as much fun as you think, the picture of the large dolphin I had to endure a day of very close six foot plus waves and a constant twenty knots due east. Believe me the best part of this day was this picture. Also we hooked the four larger fish all in a five minute time period. Four thirty pound plus fish in six foot waves with four guys over two hunderd and fifty pounds each. The boat was all over the place and rods going over and under each other to keep the fish from crossing lines. Took for ever to land the first one on a twenty pound spinner. Then the same thing with the others untill all four were gaffed. The bull was easy as he was on a fifity wide and the bait was in his stomach. After these fish they want to catch some blackfin tunas that meant running beam in six footers. I will be glad to let you run the boat on these days. I hear ya. Although I'm not commercial, I do "charters" with friends and family who know nothing of how to catch fish, where all the gear is and how to rig their lines. Always receive huge thanks and they always ask me "why don't you do this for a living?". I can't imagine doing it day in and day out, it's a long day and no matter how much they paid me, it wouldn't be enough. But good to see that you're getting some nice fish and clients, keep the pic's of the good days coming ! Rick Ticket 85 SF Merc 454 MPI's Falmouth, MA
