No not really. It does get in the way sometimes when trolling for tuna. When the sunshade is down, you cannot see the reels from the helm. To solve this when the reels go off and so I can see what’s going on, I pull the sunshade back with a piece of rope and hold it in place with one of those rope stop cam type cleats. Now the problem is it blocks the ladder, so if I have to run down to the cockpit to help out I first have to release the sunshade. Its benefits outweigh the inconvenience.

I know I am being cheap but there are some Strataglass seconds on Ebay for sale. $180 for 3 sheets 111" x 54." The seller says do not use these if they are for large boat windows so I am not inclined to buy these. Has anyone seen any of these "seconds" and how much should normal quality Strataglass cost?
