diesel fuel

Post by sbeer »

Anybody know the problems that can happen to a diesel motor once they make it mandatory that all diesel fuel be sulfer free in 2010. Read about it in boating magazine. Mike

I was told that the less sulfur in the diesel fuel the less lubricant in the cylinders. Therefore a shorter life for the diesel.

That's the last straw, first it was the gas prices, then E10, then our fiberglass tanks, now diesel?! Is NOTHING sacred anymore? I am going hydro-electric, at least they haven't messed that up yet.
