Frank, I have the same scenario going on with my computer as you do.

I changed mine with cast iron, around 7 bucks. Treated with corrosion x before installing and greased them up nicely. They look great.

I used to keep it on the bow all the time, backwards flipped upside down. Now we keep it on the dinghy rack at the club, unless we're going away for a weeks vacation. Then we'll grab it and throw it on the bow. I just think it looks like ass on the bow, unless you have a set up like Ron's boat.

Fender Racks Rule! Practical, Stylish, might I say even a little sexy. The wife loves them and thats all that matters since she handles all the lines and fenders. Now a dinghy flipped upside down on the bow, thats fugly.

Can a higher micron filter cause to much pressure somewhere? Leading to a fuel leak to release the pressure?
