Pretty disappointed this morning when I ran down the stairs hoping to see a pair of 3208s under the tree but had to settle for an iTunes gift card and sox... oh well. Merry Christmas

4200 can also tough to remove. I would use lifecaulk and see how it goes for a few years. It may fix the problem for 10 years

Rick.. put a drain hose 6-12 inches from the top but also put a drain valve near the bottom so you can get the water out. Make sure you can get suction from your pump while underway.

Oh... and you get an orange polyball for a lid to keep your blues from jumping out! Looks extra tough that way. You will be like an extra on the deadliest catch!

30 gal plastic blue drum. Lots of commercial guys use this set up. Very lightweight. You could probably store it behind your ladder. Cut it to the height you want.. pump sea water in and set up a drain plug near bottom.

Don Welcome and congrats on the new boat. You will get a lot of help here. My 35 is a 79. so the bulkhead is different. I would make sure the door frame is draining properly and remove all the wood and re bed it. See if that fixes the issue. You also mention some rot? I would replace that as well. I...

For some reason I just knew that would be the suggestion you would make. Swapping the heater is on the things to do list. I only run it now after running the blower.. Would love to repower... coming up about 60K short right about now!

Brian... once I remove the stove we can work out a deal.. Here is where I am on marine vs non marine electrical parts. The Last owner installed a houshold hot water heater below decks forward of the port engine. The surveyor pointed out that it isn't ignition protected... Meaning gas fumes plus unex...

galley update

I am looking to make a few changes to the port side galley on my 35. Currently I have a 3 burner princess range and oven under the port windshield. I have a cheap microwave on the port counter top. I was thinking of removing the oven and installing a microwave (flush mount) where the stove is. I don...

No matter what you do you will have to walk up the rail with a fender in hand... If you have them on the bow you will be walking them back to the midship to place them... or even to the stern if all your fenders are up there. My advice is to run the boat for a season and see what works and what does...

Barry... Manovering a 35 bert with twin screws is a lot easier than at 25 OB. You will be able to put that boat anywhere you want without any issues. And that boat is so solid it will be your buddies that need the fenders! I use standard size fenders and store them below deck. Fender racks are cool ...
