Re: Fresh Water Tank Replacement

Thanks Tony,

It doesn't sound like the Huei is perfect either...a lot of pressure in there. I'm sure you're well up on it but this guy does a good job (and he's kinda funny) explaining the differences: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IA45Yyfaw8U&t=296s

Re: Fresh Water Tank Replacement

Thanks Joe ! It'll be tough to get rid of me, too many friends and too much knowledge here. Whoever buys our boats are getting a deal as they are all in great shape and absolute battlewagons in rough sea's. When I look at the all the improvements I've made I know the boat will be delivering for many...

Time to get into an express of some sort. Looking at Tiara 31's - 36's....unfortunately the 37 won't fit in my s...

Re: Fresh Water Tank Replacement

Why do you FBC guys need to prove some sort superior sexuality ? Is it because you're driving around in a station wagon instead of a sports car ?

Re: Forum Question

Thanks David !

I rattled my keyboard a little too long trying to find that, I had a fairly long reply to someone and was interrupted so I attempted a draft and thought "Oh sh!t, I don't know how to do this !"

Re: Fresh Water Tank Replacement

Hi Scott, Unless you want to open the hatch extension, it's a lot easier to cut up the old tank with a Sawzall. Believe it or not I've done it both ways. The first time I took apart the dinette and opened the extension. Since I has one small hole leaking, I just had it repaired at a metal shop. But ...

Re: engine compartment insulation and Heat Exchangers

Hey Tony, I used "Sound Down" and it works really well. They are in Salem, MA and sell it in 4' X 8' sheets. For mine, I used the 1" thick material and it's still holding nicely. You could probably use a little thicker but the caveat is that it adds weight to your engine boxes. Not so much that they...
