I would get at least a forty gallon round deck well that sits on the deck. I would also keep the deck well for the days you can't mix baits like bally hoo and sardines. Flow is the most important thing in keeping baits fresh and the rule 1600 does a nice job but still will air lock at times. Check o...

I do know of a nice 33sf with 370 cummins for 96k. Very nice boat! The cheapest I could buy cummins reman from cummings was $22000 each with gears. I see lots of adds for rebuilt engines in the 10 to 15 per engine range. The gears may fit the blocks but the running gear and shafts most likely have t...

Correct a 8 to 9 hour trip and a lot of the time if I can find a couple of fish shallow the burn will be forty to fifty gallons. Look at the plate for your fuel pickups, go to the returns and there is a t handle opening that isn't plumbed in that's where I dip the tank. I rarely run at 20 knots and ...

The tank is 250 gallons and where the intakes are there is a fitting on the return side that goes directly in to the tank. This is the spot that I dip the tank. When I pulled the fuel intakes for cleaning of the screen I discovered this opening and started dipping the tank as the sender always had a...

Good question and think with the generator running I would expect around five to ten gallons per hour at seven knots. I do know that on an eight to none hour day with 15 to twenty miles each way to the gulf stream and trolling at 6.5 knots i will burn between 50 to 70 gallons per day. If have to run...

For a fishing boat in Malta with a full tower, all would be envious! Again 50 ksh sales price with diesels and newer Genny! Once you call cummins and price 6BTA re mans at 20k to 25k each you will soon forget the re power option. Captains that have re power what did your re power end up costing you?...

The fish was released unharmed at the transom and not weighed but I would guess 400 to 500 pounds. It was fun for all and the reverse gears got a work out! On the subject of selling the Bertram I am ready if there is anyone really interested and will not waste my time with Ebay again as the low bids...

The tower was custom made to the boat and will stay. The upper station has engine starts, throttles and clutch's, horn, and vhf. If your a fisherman there is a 1100 gph bait well pump and a spare thru hull for a second. Photo bucket, http://s248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/larrywren/

The one shown with a full tower and cats is a lot less then $129,000.00 Matter of fact you could pay the shipping and excise tax and still spend less than 129000. If you are interested I will sell the boat in the fifties. The tower alone was 26k four years ago. Please let me know if you need any oth...

Awl Spar and then Allbright by Awlgrip! Trick is lots of coats of both, you will be happy. The nice thing is when it needs it a good scuff and another coat of awlbright will bring the shine right back. I have tried a lot of different treatments and the awlgrip stuff is the best! To remove old varnis...
