When I repowered from Mercruiser 454s to Cummins 6bta, the raw water system was changed from 1.25 to 2 inch diameter. Now I have a complete set of bronze parts for sale. I put in an Attwood 6 gal and it works great. Little use except for showers and hair washing. Lynn

Jim; The engines come straight up and then out the door after removal of exhaust manf., risers, alternator,oil and fuel filters. Measure the door way twice and lift away. We used fork lift with long pole inserted on forks. About 1.25 hours of lift time per side. Lynn

We are up in Jacksonville with 33FBC 1987 Cummins last year.About 6 to 8 Berts in the area.

To All; Our 87FBC has a no-seeum mesh sewn to sunbrella border that snaps to the inside of the teak door jam. It folds up nicely. The forward hatch and the side sliding windows have more traditional screens in frames. FL has more bugs per capita. Lynn

My 87FBC with repowered 330hp Cummins goes 23.5 knots at 2300 rpm. From the charts, thats 19 gph with 1.43 mpg statute. Thats why I now have Cummins. Lynn

To All; My 87FBC has black paint outlined top and bottom with gold metalflake tape half inch that has deterioriated badly. To All; My project info; Cummins 330 hp, ZF gears with 1.6:1; existing props 23x26 original Bertram issue from their 2.57 :1 BW gears. I can't get prop calculator to behave with my inputs. Biggest descrepancy is choice of hull type. What is conventional wisdom on this issue? 1987 FBC Thanks.

That is sort of my thinking now also. Am also considering leaving the Princess stove out of the configeration.
