Down here diesel is more than gas so a percentage of the savings is right out the window. The only undisputable fact here is that diesels use less per hour and n...

my 2 cents if you will. No doubt the diesels perform better. I would venture to guess the average repair on a diesel is much more and that annual maintenance is more expesnsive. Antway this is a great article to read on the subject a little old due to the fact he states diesel is cheaper at least he...

I am goiung to go ahead and jinx myself here. I have run at least 1000 gallons through my tank on my 78. I did put a very fine micron double canister filter before the merc filter. One other person suggested he did the same and had no problems. I may be really off base here but until I see problems ...

Apparently according to PMY the only tanks that will have problems are tanks with DIOP in the resin. Apprently it is more rpevenlent in the pre 80 Tanks. Boy it sure would be nice to have someoen tell us if teh resin used to make our tanks has DIOP.

My guess is it would not be cheap mught be worth checking into. Are you going with stainless because of the sketchy info to do with ethanol's effect on aluminum. Also I was thinking about having the tank divided into two sections due to all the crap we are hearing a bout phase separation etc. Anyone...
