Mike, I had a custom 250 Gal Tank made in NJ for $3,100.00 and did it myself, total cost was around 5K when I was done. It was a lot of work to get the deck out..... Good Luck, you will love the boat. Mike

Heinz, A second recommendation to replace you tank if needed is Bay Boat Works in North East MD, Speak to Don Green (Owner) he did the tank in my 35 and did a great job and was very reasonable, I would highly recommend him if that convenient to where your boat is. I have 8.1 Crusades in my B35 and I feel they have all the power I need. My boat will plain at 3,000 RPM at 3,200 RPM I'm running between 20 - 23 MPH depend on conditions and reading 26-28GPH on my Flow-scan after she is timed out. Chris, I have a 1973 B 35 with 8.1 Crusaders, they turn up to 4600 RMP I can get anywhere from 36 - 40 MPH depending on the wind and load. I used a gentleman by the name of Ray Walden to survey my Bertram 35. Out of all the boats I have had surveyed I fell he did the best and most through job. I highly recommend him. His number is 804-815-8647. Mike.
