Gustav?
Eddy? Need an update? Hope you survived the storm. Seems like most boats on the Tchefuncta were ok. Didn't see any postings from the other NOLA boats - Mike and Robert. All ok I hope.

turning 2000. Most '92 owners seem to cruise between 2,000 and 2050, or so I'm told. I played around with wheels last summer. Up in diameter, up in pitch, up in cup, just to try to get more data points. Problem is, when we fish, we overload the heck out of these things with fuel and ice. I had the p...

Doug Waaaaay to long. Things are good. I keep an ear to B33.com, just to keep tabs on you guys. Where to start... I finished the engine rebuild in May. Reasoning that I'd be buying new turbos anyway, I installed a different turbo/injector arrangement targeting around 530 hp out of the '89 692's. Dyn...

Regarding other swim platforms out there, take a look at Glass Tech @ glass-tech.com/swim-platforms. The 33 had a platform very similar if not the same when it went down. I can tell you it's a durable pce of equipment. I had a guy who had no business being in a boat run into it in lake pontchartrain...

That comment was mostly a chuckle. Right now, I have no plans to alter the output. You're right. 450 out of 692s is a good place to be. It's kind of like the 270 3208s in the 33s, you can run at that output all day long without concern of melting a valve. The meters are reading 1890 hrs. My plan is ...

Doug, they're the 450 hp 692's. ummm..... wonder what it would take to kick 'em up? I've got to go through both anyway. Ed, It'll be Fish Stix. Like most of our boats, the name takes on a persona which transcends the boat itself. Tshirts, ice chest stencils, etc. I'd have to change everything. Ed, I...

Purchased in Louisiana - a local boat I've known for years. No pictures of the interior yet. Just have a survey picture. No, it's not Fish Stix. I've asked but have heard nothing on the fate after it was auctioned on ebay. Stix was painted with imron 4 weeks prior to Katrina, she had no stripes and modified hand holds around the bridge, along with the modified electronics console we talked about in previous topics. Th...

38's are good fishing platforms...very stable and can take a punch. I fish a 38 repowered with C9 cats couple times a year. Good tracking and stability at the higher speed. My only gripe with the 38 is loss of headroom over the 33FBC. Curious about the 355 Cats....isn't that 375? Any detail on the r...
